BMW Vision Future Luxury Concept

BMW is showing at the Beijing Motor Show the Luxury Concept Future Vision study that may advance some ideas that will be a future Bmw 7 Series.

The new prototype follows the lines of a study Gran Lusso Coupe, developed last year by Pininfarina, has paint plated brass, with doors opening opposite and a prominent front grille flanked by new laser headlights. The German automaker said that the new study "provides an insight into the perception of the future of the luxury of the BMW brand."

The interior is, according to the manufacturer, a driver-focused cockpit. Thus, three screens which use 3D technology to provide data to the driver: a central display with programmable speedometer, tachometer, etc.. A screen on the left that shows information related to the vehicle; and lastly one screen to the right reserved to the infotainment system.

Rear passengers have at their disposal removable tablets which have access to all information related to travel and still entertaining.
Bmw has not revealed specs.

BMW M4 Convertible is Official

BMW unveiled the M4 Cabrio before its first public appearance at this year's Hall of New York, open April 16

Virtually identical to Bmw M4 Coupe, the  BMW M4 Convertible adopts a more aggressive, muscular style compared to conventional 4 Series, and is about 60 kg lighter. It differs by the rigid retractable roof that can be folded back in 20 seconds account yet with a leather sports steering wheel, sports seats ...

The engine is the same as M4 Coupe, a 3.0 TwinPower Turbo inline six-cylinder with 431 hp charged between 5500 and 7300 rpm. The maximum torque of 550 Nm is achieved between 1850 and 5500 rpm.

The car does 0 to 100 km / h in 4.4 seconds

New Bmw X4

The new BMW X4, was not unveiled in Geneva but promises to reach the market in July

 Aesthetically, the X4 has a more muscular loock, impression that the low center of gravity helps to strengthen. BMW promises a dynamic car, capable of providing a good time behind the wheel.

 There will be six engines, three petrol and three diesel. In the first range of options, the customer will be able to choose between the 184 hp 20i, the 28i and 35i 245cv of 306 hp. In the second range of choice, the emphasis is on version 20d to debut a new 2-liter turbodiesel built entirely in aluminum and capable of an injection pressure of 2,000 bar achieved from a common-rail system with solenoid injectors. The power goes up to 190 hp.

 All versions of the new Bmw X4 are equipped with a "set-up" more sporty suspension, Xdrive system with Performance Traction Control, which minimizes understeer. As with the rest of the range will be available in the M Sport option packages and XLine.

BMW M5 Touring G-Power

G-Power  presented a BMW M5 Touring modified with the 'Bi-Kompressor-System', renaming the van of the Bavarian brand to G-Power M5 Hurricane RR Touring.

So the BMW M5 Touring becomes the fastest truck in the world, reaching maximum electronically limited  speed of 362 km / h. With the modifications of G-Power the car delivers 820 bhp of maximum power at 7500 rpm (increasing 313 hp to the original ), the maximum torque is 790 Nm available at 5000 rpm (+ 270 Nm). With these modifications accelerates 0-100 km / h in 4.4 seconds.

BMW and Toyota agreed to develop a joint platform for sports cars

BMW and Toyota agreed to develop a joint platform for sports cars, announced the administrator responsible for the development department of BMW, Herbet Diess, to the newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung.

 The agreement comes after the two car brands have signed in January last year, an agreement for cooperation in various fields.

 At the time, the two companies said they expected to develop a joint platform that could form the basis of a mid-size sport car.
