BMW introduced M3 and M4 with 6-cylinder TwinPower Turbo

BMW advanced with the first images and specs of the new BMW M3 Sedan and BMW M4 Coupe, sports cars with launch scheduled for January in Detroit (USA) and sales start in mid-2014. 

The BMW M3 remains with the sedan body type, while the Bmw M4 (based on Series 4) adopts a coupe configuration.

 Common to both cars is the new engine with six cylinders in line TwinPower Turbo 431 hp and 550 Nm.

 BMW announces an acceleration 0-100 km / h in 4.1 s, with the automatic dual-clutch gearbox, and 4.3 sec with manual gearbox. The maximum speed is limited to 250 km / h. (155 miles/hr)

BMW plans to produce engines in U.S.

BMW may proceed for the first time, with the construction of engines in the U.S., in order to expand the production of vehicles in the region.

The decision may be taken next year tells Bloomberg quoting sources close to the process. The German manufacturer only produces engines outside Europe in China, in Shenyang, for supplying their local factories.

In the USA, BMW has, since 1994, a plant in Spartanburgo,  South Carolina, where produces the Bmw X3, X4, X5 and X6 from 2014.

BMW announced the renewal of  the Bmw X5, with new exterior image, lots of technology, new versions and for the first time, a version with only rear wheel drive.

The X5 range  now has the Bmw X5 sDrive 25d  with four-cylinder / 218 hp and  the V8 and the Bmw X5 xDrive 50i now with 450 hp.

Promising to be more efficient and cheaper than the current Bmw X5 , due to the optimization package anti-emissions  EfficientDynamics, the X5 also adopts the solution Driving Experience Control,. You can also choose the M Sport pack or the Performance pack.

For the first time BMW offers two additional seats in the rear. The luggage capacity with just two rows of seats, increased to 650 liters.

BMW M6 Gran Coupe

BMW has announced the launch in May, a new version of the super Bmw M6 the BMW M6 Gran Coupe equipped with the powerful 4.4 V8 engine with 560 hp and 680 Nm. Price: € 162,000.

BMW X4 Concept

BMW predicts stable profits this year
